Don't know if there is a bug in the latest update or...? When I open the launcher file 14 (winterdecorations) or 18 gets an update (alternates with each attempt to open launcher). And I get a message from Microsoft Security Essentials - Detected threats are being cleaned... Then the launcher crashes when I try to log in...

    Crash report:
WindowsError: [Error 5] Access is denied
    File "<string>", line 41, in run_launcher
File "launcher\launcher.py", line 124, in start
File "fsm\FSM.py", line 64, in request

    So what's happening?

This time it updated file 15... So, whatever is happening... no idea.

now it's always file 14 that gets the update... before trying to login, the crash report reads as...

Guess I'll try a clean download. Would still appreciate input.
    Thanks, Wacky

Turned off Microsoft Security Essentials protection... game loads and opens fine....
I think I have to tell Microsoft Security Essentials to allow exception. Not sure how tho...

Fixed. Just excluded the Toontown Rewritten folder in Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hope this helps other folks with the same problem.
