To me, trap is cooler but drop is objectively more effective.

I think both are equally cool. I've always picked drop to use personally though.

I live for the drop and I find it has more utility than trap when it comes to regular battles.

I went with drop, but wish I went with trap.
The low accuracy pains me every time. Only get 3 pianos, and only 1 of them hit. Y i k e s.
It IS satisfying when they land though...

Drop has a decent chance to hit. 50% base accuracy with a track xp bonus depending on the level. On a level 11 cog with one stun acting to benefit the drop a piano would have a 70% chance to hit which is 5% less accurate than throw. Not bad.

Drop, for me it's fun to train. (Saying that makes me sound like a maniac)

Maybe I just have the worst of luck, because I've seen more misses than hits with my drops. Lol

Drop definitely has more uses than trap, and it stings when someone can't drop when needed.

Well since we're talking about which one is just cooler, I'd have to go with trap. I think it's the cooler option because it has a huge variety of animations with the gags in its track, and that little thing was just something I always loved about using it.

If you chose to take drop instead of trap, you are forced to plant throw trees in order to be able to kill a level 11 in lure in 1 hit which is necessary for golf courses and offices. However, if a person knows how to properly combo drop and sound, drop can be an extremely effective tool in battle especially in the golf courses, CFO, and CEO fights. The piano allows for 2.0 cogs level 10 and 11 and occassionally 12 to be taken out instantly. The strategy required in when to use drop effectively is why I always take drop.

If you chose to take trap instead of drop, then you have the luxury of not needing a throw tree (still nice to have), and you could potentially even make a train tree. The train itself is the 2nd best level 7 gag in my opinion and with a tree becomes a daily tool used to abliterate all cogs. Trap is most useful inside of offices and golf courses and becomes better if it is used in combo with Drop on a 2.0 cog.

In my opinion, I would take Drop for myself, but I think the best setup for anything Lawbot HQ and Bossbot HQ related is to have 2 toons with trap 2 toons with Drop so both gags could be used effectively. Too many toons with Drop will rapidly diminish its value, but a toon with TNT or Train is almost always welcome.

Trap, only because it works every time (only when there's lure obviously lol)

I’m a trap less Toon and I hate trap bc u need to lure it and if you are fighting yourself u will get attacked after using your trap. Drop is better bc u don’t have to lure although it misses sometimes. Lol. But I still prefer drop.

But sometimes lure misses so it’s basically the same as drop. That’s how I feel.

I believe you are the only person I have seen in 10 years of Toontown to actually provide a legitimate, logical reason for having trap. I applaud you sir.

  15. I still have level 2 drop... Because of the struggle of training it. I wish I went with trap, just throw it in front of lure lol.

Drop is easy to train. Use whatever level gag you have on the same level cog to maximise accuracy and have somebody stun. Trap is harder to train because of the higher damage output per gag and the inability to activate it in one round, not to mention the inconvenience of not being able to carry as much of trap as you can with other gags.

Kind of late here but.... *whistles* I do want to note it CAN be activated in one round if you trap and someone else lures (same as in drop where someone else stuns and you drop.)

Well, yes, as a given. I was talking from the perspective of solo training.
