So, i've noticed that a LOT of people want to make their own content packs. They just do not know how. In this thread i'll tell you on how to make your own content pack! DISCLAIMER: This is a tutorial made for Windows users. I'll be sure to update whenever i'll find out a way on how to do that on Mac or Linux. 1. You will obviously need to extract the .mf files. There are 2 ways on how to do that: (1): You can use the command prompt to extract the files. Here are the commands for it: "multify.exe -x -f phase_x.mf" for extracting (The x is the number you are supposed to type in. For example phase 3) and "multify.exe -c -f phase_x.mf phase_x" for packaging them back into .mf files. There is a better (imo) and easier alternative method! (2): You can use ToonShredder. ToonShredder is a program that extracts and packages the .mf files in a couple of clicks. I do NOT own ToonShredder in any way. It's just a cool program that i used. Here's the video that has a tutorial in it and the download link: Now that we got that out of the way, let's move to step 2. 2. Editing textures. You can do it however you like, with Paint or GIMP. You can do what you like. If you want to replace a image, simply get rid of the original picture, find the photo and rename it to the original picture's name. When you are done with that you obviously want to replace the music. Which gets us to step 3. 3. Replacing music. It's a very, very, VERY simple method. Just use a YouTube MP3 converter when you want to get a song from YouTube. Then, you are done. But wait! You need to convert them to .ogg before you do that. Find a converter online. Heres the one i used: Online Audio Converter - Сonvert audio files to MP3, WAV, MP4, M4A, OGG or iPhone Ringtones It isn't a virus. Trust me. When you converted your music, simply get rid of the original song's .ogg, get your .ogg and rename it to the original .ogg's title. And then you're done. Just package them using one of the either ways on step 1. Now, you just need to get them in the resources folder in your TTR's files. And then you're finished! Congratulations! You just learned a simple method on how to make your own content pack! Enjoy making them! And while you're reading this, check out my new content pack!
