A Mysterious Message By: Flippy Hey everyone! It's Flippy here with some interesting news for you! However, before I start with that, I just wanted everyone to know that the aqua toon that you saw last time was not me. I'm not exactly sure where the Forum Cast found that toon’s picture but she sure did look a lot like me. She could have been my doppelganger; many toons may not have known the difference! Come to think of it, I wonder if the Cast mixed our pictures up. If they did, I can tell that @John and @sweet would not be happy. Not that I blame them. Everything was right except for my signature shirt! You really can't get this anywhere in Toontown. Clarabelle had put it up for sale in her Cattlelog a while back but it isn’t the same material. To get this material, someone has to embark on a long and arduous journey into the unexplored areas of the grey to a secret mountain which opens up to a cave filled with traps that could be sprung at any moment. I really have to wonder who put all of those banana peels and TNTs in that cave. Not to mention the endless rakes at every corner. Ooo, they get you every time! I remember exploring the very first parts of the grey area to help construct and open up new playgrounds for toons everywhere. Back then, ‘robotic’ business people were but a concept. Ah yes, I remember using my very first gags like it was yesterday too. I also remember winning the Grand Prix. Although at that time, it was the ‘Small’ Prix because Goofy Speedway had not yet been constructed. It was more like an impromptu race between a small group of toons, which you’ve come to know today as representatives on the Toon Council. I even have a trophy to prove it! Somewhere... I think I’ll be able to find it by the time the Toon Council renovates the Toon Hall. I had saved them as little souvenirs of my time in Toontown. I wish the Toon Council would allocate some jellybeans quickly to help renovate the Hall. We did have toons constructing the Town Hall but they had all fallen asleep and haven’t woken up for months. It’s really quite peculiar. I cannot even sit down at my own desk anymore because of some bear traps that someone put there. Oops! I went a little off topic there for a while. Sorry toons. Back to the matter at hand. I had left my office area to welcome some new toons into the town in the Toontorial. I can’t use the current main office so I have to go in the back to use the back office. Huh? Did you think that the Town Hall was that small? You should really read up on Toon Perception 101. Buildings are always small on the outside and large on the inside. You’ll have to ask Loony Labs about the theorem behind that. I’m not certain what it is exactly. Anyway, when I arrived back from the Toontorial area, I noticed the most peculiar thing. The office space was filled with dirty paw prints that led to my computer. Someone had opened my TTR Forums account and seemed to have left a message for me. However, the oddest thing of all was that the paw prints only went in one direction: towards the computer. There weren't any coming back out! I'm not one for a mystery but I sure will get the Toon Council to examine those paw prints for some leads. Maybe I'll call Detective Lima as well. Wait, I think I saw this last week on Detective Toonan. The green cat had used an alibi trick while his mouse partner distracted the detective. It was an unlikely accomplice which made the mystery all more confusing. Wait no, that can’t be right. No witnesses were around so there no need for a trick. Oh, I've got it! Maybe the toons wore birthday cakes on their feet to leave no trace. Wait no, that doesn't make sense either. Why would they leave paw prints in the first place? Yeah, I'll definitely leave this to the professionals. Anyway, I should examine this computer to make everything is as it should be. I hope that toon didn’t close my document! I didn’t finish printing the rest of the Toontown Times newspapers! Oh, what's this? It seemed like someone left a video link in one of my conversations. It seems whoever was here started a conversation with an anonymous person? Let's see. That was certainly… odd. What was that noise at the end and why would someone leave this in a conversation? Wait a minute... The conversation was deleted? Did the message have a deletion timer? Now I'm spooked. I'm just going to leave this to the Toon Council for them to see what they can make of it. Have a toontastic day everyone!
That was a really strange message that you received Flippy! Not to worry though. With the Toon Council and the Cast working together to find some leads, we're sure to come up on something. As long as everything is normal. Well, time's always in motion so we'll see what happens.
FIIIIIIIIIIIINE. Ill decode it. While I am doing that, Flippy, please make TTR staff learn photoshop, your PC is floating. Okay, got it. Word for word: 20 YEARS AGO FOR US BUT NOT 20 YEARS. IT STARTED THERE. IT IS COMING AGAIN. CAN WE STOP IT? IT JUST TOOK ONE MISTAKE. ARE WE TO LATE Strange. I wonder why there wasnt a question mark at the end of "ARE WE TO LATE"
GUYS I HAVE A CRAZY IDEA!!! SOMETHING IS GOING DOWN IN JULY 2016!!! You're welcome I would recommend putting quicksand in front of your estate
Well we definitely we can assume that based on the time card, lol. But I doubt that's all you can see. It's bugging me. How can it be 20 years ago but not 20 years? It really doesn't make sense unless this story doesn't follow some laws of time. Twenty years for US and I can assume 20 years for THEM. But the thing is, who is us and who is them? If US is referring to us, on the Forums well the question still stands as who is THEM. If US is referring to all toons, as I said the question still stands. If US is referring to a certain group of toons, the question still stands. If it started there, can I assume it started for them? If it started for us, I should assume it started here. The thing is, what is it? I can say that when I translated it word for word, I got: Word for word. So you missed an 'O' there. The question mark seemed to have started to be transcribed but for some reason it wasn't finished. I'm not sure if that was intentional or if it was a mistake. If it was intentional, I can assume that the sender had to cut their message short. I had to slow down the audio in order to hear what the message was but I translated it beep by beep. I can say that because T is a long beep while E is a short one. Someone was trying to get something else out but it ended? Unless I'm getting it wrong. Why are you acting like you have an obligation to decode it? I don't really see how the PC is floating either. It seems like it's on the desk with maybe the exception of the keyboard there. But yeah, that's what I can discern from the message.
hmmmm a quick google and i found out that in 1995-ish(?) they closed down mickey's starland and renamed it mickey's toontown fair and added a few attractions but i doubt that that has any conenction to this, i just wanted to put it out there
(thank god someone translated morse code cause when I did it my ears bled...) So in order to figure out what this means we need to first look why they would have sent the message... See it wouldn't make sense for a cog to send that message out because by lore they attacked our land so why would they be scared of us (are the toons working on an iron giant jk) So let's say the toons sent out the code, See the thing is Disney interactive started working on tto in '96, 20 years ago, but the thing is when they first came here and they got settled they had to fight waves of unknown cogs. Now let's come to ttr about 17 years later, the elections.... "Can we stop it? It just took one mistake." and for anyone who were to have wittness the elections you may have noticed a few things 1. The soon to be most powerful toons in toontown in one spot 2. No border defense 3. Every toon attending (well in different districts ) It would be ludicrous for the cogs NOT to strike, and that was their mistake, one insy mistake in order for them to crash and burn. Then if you also remember the cogs didnt just come in 1, 2, 3, 4 so they also brought a flippin small truck with em. The director of ambush marketing. Why could we possibly be to late to stop this threat because in order to stop it we needed 30 toons constantly throwing creams at it + a wedding cake in order to defeat it. Imagine if that sucker were to sneak attack us and we weren't ready. We'd all be dead men... So that's just my idea. idk See that would make sense because toontown has it's own timezone so it could possibly have a different calendar.
Somehow I feel like it does have a slight bearing with the actual storyline being presented here. Maybe I'm wrong but we can't limit the possibilities.
Whoa, ok... That was very strange, Flippy. You might have to investigate on it, truly a mystery to be solved!
