I love Animal Crossing, been playing it since it's first NA Release on Gamecube. I've even watched the short animated Movie that was made for it. To those that have played, how do you like it? How do you feel about the new DLC update "Welcome amiibo"? Personally, I love it. I love watching [Vinesauce] Vinny play it, it's relaxing. It's a great addition to New Leaf, and I am having a lot of fun with it. Scoot is one of my favorite villagers, second to Bob and Bones. I could go on and on about my favorite villagers. Some down sides, though, I lose interest in the games very quickly. I've been playing daily so far, but there comes a point, just like The Sims, where I just lose interest. The penalties for missing even one day are a bit harsh, and they really guilt trip you for not playing for a few months. Like, it's hard for me to keep playing consistently before I get bored and move on to another game. But for now, it's nice to revisit A-Cross, but my heart still belongs with Animal Crossing, on the Gamecube. I do hope to see an Nintendo Switch/NX release, though.
I played wild world and new leaf, and new leaf hooked me more. Even if they guilt you into not leaving for months I do so eventually and just ignore everyone all upset thinking I ignored them
I played the DS, Wii, and 3DS versions. I really love that game, there's just something about it that makes me feel like I can play I feel all night long without ever getting bored
Very interesting how you guys got your starts at the DS Wild World How did we all like (or not like) the console versions? I felt that City Folk on Wii was a step in the right direction, just not fully "there" yet, you know? I definitely would say my favorites are the G-Cube, and 3DS versions. I wasn't able to play WW up until only recently. The Gamecube one is just so... chill. I like how it feels more in touch with the name "Animal Forest". Like, no big towns to visit, or a shopping district, everything was placed within the Forest, and I personally love that since I'm super in love with forests and waterfall, just green areas really. But New Leaf is great, it's nice to play it on the Bus when I have to go to Jerusalem, or take a long trip to Haifa. I do hope to see another Animal Crossing game in the future. Since the New Leaf DLC does feel like a new game, almost, I can hold off on A-Cross for another few years or so.
I don't really play the game anymore, but whenever the a new one came out, I fell back in love with the game. I really enjoyed the Wii version because of the shopping district, it was new and brought a new vibe to the game. I also loved designing my own shirts or flags <3
ah animal crossing i used to visit random people worlds through the gates and meet tons of new friends and people always used to browse the dumpster right next to the guards at the gate and grab furniture and clothes
I still play new leaf and like once a week I meet up with this girl I met on miitomo somehow and we visit each other's towns and give each other stuff (and last time she got all ocd and cleaned up my town for me )
I played the original GameCube version during the summer of 2004 I think pretty much everyday, got burned out, and didn't play any of the sequels after that. I could imagine with friends it being more fun, but yeah talking the same subjects with NPC animals everyday wasn't really my cup of tea.
