I sure hope so, but they did say in an interview that doodles caused more lag in crowded districts and that's why they haven't been implemented. That was a month or two ago, so it could definitely be a possibility.
Can you link me to where you saw that?! Ugh. Surely Vibrant Valley fashion shows and glitching cause more lag than doodles .-.
It's from OMGCon! It was mentioned around 1:15:50. They said that doodles affected the servers, but that they are coming. I probably worded it incorrectly in my first post; sorry 'bout that!
I really hope doodles are coming out soon... My first (and only doodle) was on old TT. I bought her from Toontown Central and named her Joy. She was cream-colored with light green spots. Had her for about 7 years. She was the sweetest thing! And very smart, too.
I remember my first doodle too. She was purple with dark blue spots. I named her Magic, and once I learned than a DDL doodle is better than TTC I thought of getting rid of Magic. I remember my TT doodle. His name was Turkey and he was orange with black spots. I got him in TTC, but he was probably the best doodle ever (literally). He was never sad or hungry or tired, but he was always happy and enthusiastic. I didn't realize how good he was until TTO closed
Aww, Magic sounds like she was a sweet doodle. At times I thought of getting rid of Joy because she was from TTC, but I got too attached to that her so that I couldn't. Glad we have some memories of our special online pets lol.

I always had my TTC doodle too! Her name was Daisy, she was a light brown doodle with huge ears and a dark brown tiger-blaze all over her back. Once I learned DDL doodles were the best I considered getting rid of her, but I never did. She was AMAZING at the "dance" trick
My doodle was just like that too! I considered getting rid of him, but I had grown so attached to him that I didn't. And my doodle was a really good doodle too. Other people complained about their doodles, but mine never failed a trick when he was needed. His favorite tricks were "Speak" and "Backflip."
I reckon so! I mean, what else for a big update could they possibly add? They've done BBHQ, so I think that Doodles will come next. I sure hope so, anyway; there's a huge increase in Toon-upless people so they're absolutely essential. Not only that, but they've done a lot of work on their servers in the recent months.. Therefore, I think that they've made the servers suitable for doodles. Also, if they can manage to have 6k people online at once with not much lag at all, I think they'd manage with doodles perfectly fine! So yes, I think they are coming. And soon.
Joey said that the reason we don't have doodles yet is because they are actually the most expensive thing for the game to hold. They're trying to get doodles without all that. skye
I have maxed beans, so money isn't the problem for me I hope there will be doodles, but tbh with you guys, I cannot see it happening any time soon. In the TTR advert, they showed a redesigned look at field offices, and other stuff coming, but nothing about doodles. Maybe I'm wrong, and hopefully I'm wrong, because I would love to have my doodle back
Expensive as in, difficult on the server, not expensive for toons. Basically, at any given time, the server must know where the doodle is, what mood it's in, and how it's going to react to the toon and other doodles in the Estate. For every toon they must account for every doodle's location, actions, and feelings that is on that account. That's a lot of lag. They're going to try to rewrite doodle coding to make it more simple for the servers, so they don't lag the whole game.
