*ATTENTION* I haven't played Toontown since 2011 so I don't remember the XP rates exactly. Please correct me if I am wrong and call me stupid so I can edit my math so it is right.

The gags required if there are no invasions, all battles are street battles against proper level cogs, and you never miss:

    You have 0XP

    Cupcakes Give 1 XP
10 XP Total to get to Fruit Pie Slice
10 Cupcakes to get Fruit Pie Slice

Fruit Pie Slice gives 2 XP
50 XP Total to get to Cream Pie Slice
40 more XP to get to 50 XP
20 Fruit Pie Slices to get Cream Pie Slice

Cream Pie Slice gives 3 XP
400 XP Total to get Whole Fruit Pie
350 more XP to get to 400 XP
117 Cream Pie Slices to get Whole Fruit Pie

147 Gags successfully hitting to get to a level 4 gag.

147 Jellybeans required to afford the gags.

    Not that bad, I'll try.

These stats are correct but, only if you keep on using the top throw gag you have. Not wrong, but chances are it will take a lot more then that.

If you don't know what you are doing, then this is nearly impossible lol even the people that know what they are doing will take a long time.

It's quite simple but to do so requires that you have a friend. They would need to have toonup/want to train toonup.

For various gags you do things slightly differently (for example sound), but I'm not going to go into detail - this isn't a guide its just an outline of what you need to do in an attempt to make you see it really is possible...

2 toons. 1 training a damaging gag, 1 training (or simply just using) toonup.

Step 1: Load up on the gags of the track you are training and a small number of high level gags in other tracks to help end fights when the gags being trained run out.
Step 2: Travel to a street with a large number of cogs the level of your highest gag
Explained: You do not get points based on the level of the cog, if its over level 6 any gag you have will receive experience unless you're maxed... then why are you training... for this reason it is best to fight cogs the same level as your highest gag to keep miss chances lower.
Step 3: The toon using the damage gag track attacks the cog (either can tag the cog) while the toonup toon passes. Start with your weaker gags, maximize the number of turns the cog stays alive and then smack it with a high level gag right before it dies, means you need to tag less cogs.
Step 4: The cog will attack, cogs tend to attack toons who have done more damage to them. If the cog attacks the damage dealing toon, the toonup will then toonup them the next turn. If not, the toonup toon continues to pass.
Step 5: Repeat step 3&4 until the cog is dead or you are out of gags, tag additional cogs whenever a battle ends
Step 6: If a new cog joins the fight, kill the cog that has received the most damage. You can leave the cog alive and split damage on them to increase the chance that the toonup toon does not need to pass, however, if the damaging toon does not also have toonup it is best to avoid this so that playground healing is minimal.
Step 7: refill gags and laff as needed.

Using this method you can get to your level 6 gag in a matter of hours especially if you manage to find invasions. The higher the toon, the easier this is as they can carry more gags and don't need to return as often to buy more/heal. You can receive 50+ (consider this an average because obviously you can't do this with a cupcake, but it would be easy with cream pies) points in a 15 minute period, constantly increasing as you get higher level gags and varying slightly based on how often additional cogs join your fights and how far you have to go to tag the next cog.

Once you have level 6 gags, recruit a third toon and do buildings. Get to the 4th-5th floor and use the same strategy as you did on the streets until you have received 300 points for the building (the max was increased in TTR to 300, up from 200 in TTO)

Simple. It just takes friends, and when TTR releases, we will all have friends who need to train gags!

Remember: No one here said they could max it in a day solo. I believe it can be done if its your last gag track, conditions are right, you have maxed the other 5 you chose, etc. but I haven't tried it. Also, no-one said that you were a two track uber with 15 laff doing this either which is a condition you set that I do not believe is possible. That would require far more healing than for example, a Brrrgh toon doing this. I have personally taken multiple gag tracks from 1-10,000 in a single day. Most notably, my pig was able to max both toonup and trap in a single day. I finished the Brrrgh and received toonup, having already had trap from MML that was at about 1000 experience points (so no, not 1-10,000 for the trap but close) three friends and myself started at around 6:00 am and finished at around 5:00 am the following day, a 23 hour period. We took about 2 hours worth of breaks during the day. This was during the Max Pig race so speed was the name of the game. Invasions are helpful, but if I can do 2 tracks in basically 21 hours with invasions, you should be able to do 1 track in 24 hours.

As a disclaimer to the 2 tracks in 24 hours, we had buildings summoned for us and constant invasions. There was absolutely no running, no healing except for toonup used in buildings, only going to get gags. We even used unites to restock jellybeans. Only two toons were training, one was summoning buildings and locating new ones while we were inside buildings. He also made sure to be in the gag shop when we needed gags. The other toon in the building would then run to the new building/summon it and we would teleport back to her. She came into the buildings and ensured no one died/ used lure/ unites. She also did a lot of clearing for us until we reached the top two floors of the mainly 5 story buildings we were doing. Occasionally, our two helpers would switch places. This was done in mid march 2007, during the first month in which pigs had been released. Our helping toon had severl toons maxed in bossbot, she rotated them as to not run out of high level building summons. We did use the buildings already on the street first, and again as they reappeared throughout the day.

I highly doubt there is a 12+ hour video of someone maxing a gag in a day. So unless you try this yourself or trust us there isn't a real way of proving this to you. I know I don't have the memory or the desire to record that long of a video that I doubt you will watch all the way through for any skips...

Edit - Included the 3rd friends role
