BigFarm is a strategic game centered around management of time, space, and economic cycles - meant for the whole family, although mine prefers TTR or other games. That being said, the game requires a lot of patience OR money if you want to skip times. You get three permanent farms at different levels where you build various production facilities, houses for workers, and decorations to keep them happy. Happiness is really important as it affects your production costs and therefore, profit. Everything kind of feeds into each other in that eco-cycle, so you have to find a good balance between expenses and income. Eventually, produce from the Main Farm supplies your Gourmet Farm and Flower Farm, which can either drain your funds or significantly increase them. They just added an interactive fishing feature, which helps to supply a kind of seafood specialty restaurant called The Mermaid Bay located off the Flower Farm with a mix of produce from all the permanent farms. Temporary farms come along in the form of events and are mostly for players who have nothing else to do. There are competitive missions where you can earn reputation points through trying to "out-farm" other players and other prizes as well as cooperative challenges centered around teamwork. Warning; some cooperatives are not good and others are wonderful. Choose whom you join carefully. The best ones are those that have a lot of active members and research done. I've reached level 90 thus far, so if you want to try it and have questions, etc. let me know.
I wanted to both like your post and rate it funny, but I guess I'll just have to settle for saying...lol
Believe it or not, I've never played Farmville lol. But Google is (sometimes) my friend and so, I can confirm that they are both indeed farming simulator games. BigFarm isn't a FB app though, so doesn't require logging into there to play or spamming your friends with invites.
