It's still November I wasn't late Anyway, welcome to this month's but super inconsistent sorry edition of spotlighting users of the forum! We're going back to looking at our cast members this time, but that doesn't mean Forum Oldies is going away. If you don't recall what Cast Me Anythings or Forum Oldies are, then check out the previous one with Sanjaya! I ask questions about their experiences with TTR, the Forums, and IRL, and they answer it. You can feel free to ask your own questions in the replies, or don't, it's completely fine either way. Without further ado, we can begin! Well, actually, there is one further ado. The interviewee (@Professor Brainiac ) will be in bolded text, while the interviewer (@Miniapollo17 ) will be in red text. TTRHow did you hear about Toontown Rewritten? I had joined TTO two months before it was set to close. In that time, it drew me in very quickly, so like most of you, there was a void in my heart when it closed. I looked for other Toontown related games, from Roblox servers to mini clip games. Eventually, I found TTR during the Alpha stage. Once they opened up to Beta, I was playing as often as I possibly could. Obviously you like bunnies the most, but which of your toons are your favorite? I have 5 toons: Professor Brainiac (main), Chocolate Bunny (alt), Uber Billionhare, Magic Bunny, and Baby Quinoa. Of those five, Professor Brainiac and Baby Quinoa are my favorite toons. I would usually run them together, with Professor Brainiac helping Baby Quinoa train. What feature do you wish to be added to Toontown Rewritten? Honestly, it would be the Field Office. I did one in TTO and I absolutely loved it. I've been waiting for Field Offices to show up in TTR for the longest time, and now that they've been completely revamped, I'm excited to see what the team has done with them. I also looked at the Lawbot Field Offices which never reached implementation in TTO, and those excited me too. My ultimate dream would be to see Field Offices for all cog types. What's your favorite cog HQ? My favorite cog HQ is undoubtedly Lawbot HQ, with Cashbot at a close second. The Lawbot HQ music is amazing, I haven't gotten tired of the DA office (yet), I like the puzzles in the offices, and the cannon round in the boss battle is pretty fun. But I enjoy the Cashbot boss battle and rewards the most. If you got to work for Toontown Rewritten, which position would you want? Composer. I applied to be a composer but I didn't get the position. I enjoy making music, so making music for a game would mean a lot to me. TTR Forums How did you discover the forums? It's been so long, I don't even remember. I may have been looking for some guide on fishing or boss battles or something, because I remember frequenting these guides really early on in my membership. I became active with the community a couple months after joining though. When/how did you become a cast member for the forums? I had been making myself known on the forums for a couple months. I was talking with many of the other popular forumers, and a lot of people knew who I was. One day, Blue Bear sent me a message saying that he had been watching people on the forums and that I stood out to him. He said that if I agreed to join the cast, I would start off as a mini mod. I, of course, agreed. What type of threads do you like to see on the forums? My favorite threads are the game threads. I especially liked some of the older ones that had a lot of members participating. Games like "Boys vs Girls" and "Hurt and Heal" (that was a really fun one) were two of my all time favorite game threads. I also did like seeing very creative game suggestions, and I enjoyed posting them too whenever I had an idea. Are there any members that you would like to shout-out? Hmmmm... @JazzMan @Fishtacollahma @affiniteas @Insert Epic Name Here @Heaven Bound @Catcat @Wizard Bear are definitely my tops. oh wait, @Miniapollo17 too. What is/was your favorite thing about the forums? I definitely enjoyed the Forum Fun Days. Those were extremely difficult to plan (and as a result there weren't many; I remember only one) but they were really fun. I would have liked to plan one for this summer but I got so busy that there was no way I could have helped in anything, and I probably would not have been able to go anyways. It would be really great if we could get that running again. More games, more prizes, and more bonding within the TTRF Community would be truly great. IRL What is your major in college? I am studying mechanical engineering. What job do you wish to have in the future? I want to be a mechanical engineer, but I don't know in what field specifically. As long as I'm dealing with new stuff all the time, I'll be happy. What's your favorite TV show? My favorite TV show, hands down, is Steven Universe. I don't even remember how I got into it, but I am so glad I did. It's written extremely well and I love all of the characters and their developments. It's getting really heavy now and I have never been so emotionally invested in a show. Ever. What do you think has been the dumbest internet trend? Oh, that's such a hard one. Well, not really. There are plenty of dumb internet trends but I think that the worst one is the Tide Pod. At first it was pretty bad, but now it's just a meme, which isn't too bad. As long as people aren't eating tide pods, I'm fine. I enjoy tide pod memes as much as the next person, so it wasn't too bad Is there any advice you'd like to give others? "If you live for people's approval, you'll die by their rejection." I love that saying. So don't worry about what others think of you. There will always be people who like you, and there will always be people who don't. Don't try to be someone you're not. If you continually deny yourself to live up to other people's expectations, you lose sight of who you are as a person. But if you put aside what other people think of you and just live as you wish to live, you will find people who like and respect you for who you are. And it will be those people who you will be proudest to call your friends, those who you best deserve. And no matter how appetizing they look, please don't eat Tide Pods. Just don't. (Note: I had to take a screenshot of the emoji art and post it as a picture because copying and pasting made it weird)
@Professor Brainiac Thanks for the shoutout <3 My favorite forum games are also boys vs. girls and hurt/heal. I remember I introduced hurt/heal to the forums hahaha ALSO YOU'RE IN COLLEGE NOW WHAT THE HECK
Those games were fun times for sure. I still have very specific memories from both of those, and hurt/heal was a very good idea. Just barely, but yeah, we here now and it's amazing (-finals, of course lol) taking it back also I haven't seen you in a bit and Justice also deleted his account a while ago...
I'm in touch with Justice via discord (are you talking about this secondary account on here? He had his main deleted about 2-3 years ago I believe?), but yeah, I'm more of a lurker on these forums these days.
Whichever one was in the group is the one I remember. I haven't had too much of a presence here lately either because I've just been so busy...
