I would put the first part of the name in it, but it's related to a psychedelic compound. in Linking, the Sapient Dream: Dream Emulator! Anyone play this on PS1 (or... emulation shhhh.)..? The Game Grumps recently played this gem and I've been a part of it's niche community for about 3 years now. It's a fun game, I had a lot of fun exploring the different textures and things. The Grey Man isn't so scary once you get to know him. HAPPY TOWN is my favorite place of them all because it's my aesthetic, lol. For the record, I know it isn't based on acid, or the dream journal, it is a bit, but not entirely. It's a dreamscape emulation, and the random textures that happen, and random events, an random objects that appear/disappear are all based on the notion that anything can happen in a dream. You really have no control over it. (Except lucid dreaming, that's a whole 'nother story lol). Excerpt from Page 7 of "Lovely Sweet Dream" "This is a diary of 10 years' worth of dreams. From this dream diary, the game "L.S.D" was born. Now, following its birth, from these dream fragments and the collaboration of 80 artistic units, this book was born. A dream world apart from the game "L.S.D", this is 'LOVELY SWEET DREAM'." Note to Mods: that's the name of the game, I'm sorry. Please don't be mad D:
If i want a quirky weird game I'll just play Katamari Damacy for my PS2. As for dream emulator itself its alright i guess, However no matter how weird the game gets it isn't gonna interest me if I get bored of walking and just going against different walls just to end up in one different location.
It's a neat and interesting game. I've had my fun playing around in it a couple of years back with a friend, but I wouldn't mind picking it up again if I had the time.
