Can someone plz tell me what I should go for(doing oldman's task) before I complete his task and have to choose
I just got my grand piano and I can tell you it hasn't been missing much, but you'll miss constantly if you get drop for the first few drop gags. However if you want trap you'll need someone to help you lure, and it might be troublesome finding someone to help -- and that's why I went for drop.
Trapless is indeed more common, but I think that trap toons need to also have lure, which I don't exactly like doing. I have trap, but I am a lureless toon which will make it hard to train at times, but I will get Train sometime >:3
OK I might go with drop but I already have lure and trap I could go with but I'm more if a solo type player (of course with toon just in case a encounter any unfortunate dying toons) so I want to know should I take 2 turns+ to do the most amount of damage in the game or take 1 turn+ to do lots of damage(add the + because lure and drop both have low accuracy and may not work in the least amount of turns intended )
If you need trap training I need lure training(only lv 3) I may be able to help you with that on Fridays and Saturdays once ttr opens up. You can find me in TTC for a while until I get sound up to lv 4 before going to train in either Donalds or sellbot factory
My in game name is the same I'm using here I'll send you tomorrow at toonfest in whatever district. What about you? I'll add you if you find me

OK cya then but I can't get in due to launcher problem with things saying download the current launcher but it gives me 1.1.3 instead of the current one
I would say go with drop, but that's only because I enjoy the comical act of dropping anvils and grand piano's on your enemies, haha.
There's really a lot of debate over dropless v trapless. From lots of other Toons, we know that Trap is a very tedious track to train; simply because there must either be a second Toon, or you'll spend two turns. Most also shun Trap for fear of greening; specifically, the variant where trappers cancel out knockback bonuses from Throw or Squirt by taking advantage of its perfect accuracy. Trap also has less available slots than other Gags, which made it seem like an obvious choice to remove. Not so, in my case. Consider now, that Drop requires two Gags to hit to even have a chance of smashing a Cog to bits (you still can, though, believe me, it's so rare on my Toons I just make smurfs to train their Drop). Trap only needs one; the Lure. Trap also ensures that a Throw Lure combo has a worse chance of hitting; but from a veteran trapper, a good TNT means you won't need a Throw Lure combo to finish off whatever you're attacking. Word of advice though; save the TNTs for 12s. Everything else is a colossal waste. Also, not many know this, but a Trap does stun for a Drop to hit (impractical and quite wasteful, but it works). I've created four generations of dropless Toons throughout TTO and TTR. Never have I regretted my decision even once.
I also prefer being Dropless. It's such a pain to train drop. Trap takes 2 turns if you are luring by yourself but if you partner up with someone training lure, it goes by way faster. The thing with drop is that a stun helps it hit, but doesn't guarantee a hit. Since drop is the last gag track to go, sometimes your team underestimates the gags they're putting in and they kill the cog before it gets to your turn to drop. But then with drop you can only carry 2 TNTs. I think Disney designed it to be a hard choice on purpose lol
I don't see what the fuss is all about for Trap; so long as you're not forever alone, it shouldn't be a problem.
I mean my old main toon was dropless. But my other toon was trapless. I love trap because it's 100% accurate... if you have a good lure, or you have friends to use lure. The train can be a lifesaver. I was able to solo bldgs and factories and stuff with trap, but it probably would be easier to solo with drop because you don't have to waste two turns. I also think that trap and drop are very similar to each other in training. Most likely, if you are luring, you will have a good lure by now, so it should be fairly easy to train. But, completely up to you, whatever you prefer.
Well I decided on drop because of the one turn and more slots part, but I'll just leave this up for you guys to have interesting discussions for drop or trap. So then when other toons get conflicted then they can just read this and this should help them decide
