I been wanting to play Toontown on my new laptop which is a MacBook Air. But for some reason, my toon will not move. I keep using the arrow keys, and I checked the controls and it should move with the arrow keys. Is there something that I need to do, to get it to work so my toon can walk around, instead of being stuck and not moving at all. I really will appreciate any help with this.
That's odd. Does it work with an external keyboard? I doubt you want to use an external keyboard to play all the time though, but it might be interesting to try. I would try remapping the movement keys in the settings after you enter the game, possibly to WASD.
Ouch. That sucks you had to do all that, and I hope you were able to keep your files and apps. I use Windows so I don't know how difficult those are on Macs, but it sucks you had to do an entire reset to fix the problem. Thank you for posting so others know that they might try that if they ever come across this issue in the future.
I was able to save all of my files to an external hard drive. so when I reseted my Mac, it wasn't too bad cuz I had everything on it. Now I am glad that it is working now.
Well, congratulation that you have solved it, but sometimes it may be because of some issue that you can solve by doing steps below: 1. By updating the game. 2. By checking for software updates. 3. Upgrading graphic drivers. Thanks
