It's often a long journey around places to get from one to another. It takes ages. Well, in just 20 seconds you can get from Brrrgh playground to Lawbot Hq using a shortcut! That's the whole map. Now here, you'll see the red line. Follow it!
*giggles* I feel bad for all those toons who don't know this trick by now. Or any of the other shortcuts, TTO offered us.
I only know the shortcut to the lawbot hq but that's because I followed a toon who was going to lawbot hq :/,other than that I dunno any other shortcuts
There's a shortcut (two actually) in TTC. None in DD, DG, or MML. But then they come back for one in The Brrrgh and there's one in DDL. Open up your map and just seek them out if you don't know specifics.
Man I can't believe I forgot about this lol. Used to always use it back in TTO but that was 5, 6 years ago haha
Can someone also help me with downloading toontown for Linux? I made a separate thread in SUPPORT, it will explain what I need help with, thanks
How to install. (Method 1) Install PlayonLinux, open it and click ADD. Then click on "Install a non-listed program" Now continue and when it ask you for the installer, give it the Toontown Rewritten Installer (NOT THE LAUNCHER, the installer) Now, after that's installed, log on and wait for the update to finish. Toontown SHOULD start up, if it hasn't then try these steps. 1) Go back on PlayonLinux and right click on Toontown Rewritten. 2) Then click configure wine and make sure the version is Windows XP. 3) Now, go to libaries and add the following into the "New override for libary" d3d8 and click add, then... d3d9 and click add. Then click one of them and press edit and click on disable, do the same for the other one. Toontown should open up now. have fun! Install (Method 2) An updated idea is this. Download playonlinux and open it up. Now...click on "Install" and than check the box "No CD-Required" and type in the search "Toontown Online" Now, it will install the correct wine version and even fix some drivers issue. Soon, after all setting it up, it will ask for the Toontown Online EXE install file. Instead... Give it the Toontown Rewritten EXE install file. After Toontown Rewritten get's installed...I believe playonlinux crashes. Do not worry. Open playonlinux again and now go on configuration, look on the side...you might see either Toontown Online (or whatever name you gave it when it asked you) If it does, then I think you have to click on it, go on "General Tabs" and click on "Make a new shortcut" and make the shortcut of the app "Launcher.exe" Now that it Toontown Rewritten appears on the PlayonLinux launcher, open it and login...and... Your done!
