So, I decided i want to play toontown with a controller, so thats what i did, i installed a program that adds controls such as pushing a thumbstick makes you hit up etc. But then i asked Support email, and i get a response, that didnt really answer me. Saying dont use programs like speedhack, cog skip animations ( They're referring to TTR-GE ) Even though i clearly stated it doesnt change any speed or add any exploits, so im asking if i can use a program that makes thumbstick movement do what a key would do Example: Move thumbstick forwards = Up Key. The program is Joy2Key ( will advertising that get me banned, didnt make it ) This simply does as the example says. Cheers. P.S Could a staff member answer this? ( TTR Staff )
If you can use a Multi-Toon program, this program should be okay. Just don't do any hacking stuff with it, if you know what I mean.
I think the general consensus when it comes to the Terms of Services is that you aren't permitted to use any software that allows you to gain an unfair advantage over other fellow toons (i.e. jump higher than others, play faster than others, or anything of that sort). As long as the software you're using doesn't allow that, then you should be alright.
you should be fine, also Pinnacle is a well known controller software you can mess around with you can try it out here - Features - Pinnacle Game Profiler P.S. they even already have a controller profile pre-set up for TTR, might be what your looking for, if not you can customize it. Toontown Rewritten - Play with Gamepad/Joystick (controller support) | Xbox 360, PS3, PlayStation, PC Gamepads, etc
