Now before I get started, if you don`t know what Tomodachi Life is then this should explain it: "Tomodachi Life, known in Japan as Tomodachi Collection: New Life (Japanese: ともだちこれくしおん: しんせい?, Hepburn: Tomodachi korekushon: Shinsei) is a life simulation handheld video game developed by Nintendo SPD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. The game, which is a direct sequel to the Japan-exclusive Nintendo DS title, Tomodachi Collection, was released in Japan in April 2013, and worldwide in June 2014." (Taken from Tomodachi Life`s Wikipedia Page) I personally did not like the gameplay, as I found it slow, and boring. However, I did enjoy the music. It's good to pick up and play for a few days, but it's too repetitive for me to play it daily Though making new miis does help curb the boredom. I got bored and named my island "Total Drama" so of course I made all the total drama characters for the island along with more personal miis and a few random ones.
Fun Fact: "Tomodatchi" in japanese means 'friend'. So pretty much the game is called "Friend Life" still pretty fitting yet kinda awkward to say. I have played a lot of the game but I mostly just buy everything and don't really interact with my Miis and then give all the stuff I bought to the Mii that is me.
While I enjoyed it, it gets boring. Much like how I am with Animal Crossing, I usually end up playing for 2 weeks, and then not play the game for another 2 years lol. Then get the itch to play it, only to be guilt tripped, lose interest after 5 minutes, then never really play the game again. I did, however, enjoy Vinesauce's streams of it.
I found Tomodachi Life through Vinesauce as well! I picked it up for 3ds like 2 years ago and I still enjoy it from time to time. It's a quirky game and I don't really get bored of it.
