Have to agree on what has been said about moderation. If you're considering it or have applied already, you have to remember that it isn't a walk in the park. Not only is it important to maintain a good relationship with your team members, but you also need a huge backbone to be able to do stuff. Making decisions on your own and taking initiative is a huge step in moderation. Being admin on a handful of sites and working as a freelance dev for a couple games has seriously shown me this. It isn't pretty. Not everyone will like you, and you're bound to have people who will try to take advantage of you. HOWEVER, it's extremely rewarding in the sense of 'hey, I'm making an effort and I'm helping a greater cause.' Good luck to all who applied for ANY position!
