    Of course Toontown.

I played Club Penguin for 5 years (2007-2012) and now I hate it. It was such a really good game, but now... membership, commercialism, membership, rude penguins, membership, roleplaying and did I mention about MEMBERSHIP? The game doesn't feel as nostalgic as before. My favourite party was Christmas Party, because of its atmosphere, but now they changed it for Walrus Party or something. For me, Club Penguin started to be bad, when Shake It Up Party started, because after this almost every party was about a Disney show. Ugh... Disney... What have you done to this innocent game...

SO let me get this straight. Disney used its own game to promote its own television shows? How much more narcissistic can you get?

From that what I remember, there was, like I said, Shake It Up Party, Star Wars Party, Teen Beach Movie Party and maybe more. After these parties I stopped playing Club Penguin, so I don't know the rest.

Oh yeah, that's definitely narcissistic. I can't believe they closed Toontown for THIS
Actually I'm kind of glad they did because then I would never have been able to play TTR. I never would have gotten this far :D

When I go on for the occasional cringe I look like a member from all the free stuff/codes in the good old days:p

Club Penguin! The 2D game with a fixed screen and pushes you to buy membership just to do literally everything!
And not to mention the stuff you buy membership for aren't interesting and the community is pretty bad. It's bigger than Toontown but worse than TTR's.

    But, Toontown..
Is a 3D game where you actually had to pay for membership to actually do interesting stuff. You could go to other playgrounds, meet new people, meet new friends, go on a journey to defeat cogs and stop robots from taking our fun away and making us dull by trying to make us get jobs? By the time Club Penguin really took off I was already what I considered too old to play, in many ways it was meant to be more of a social game which personally I don't play games( Especially those geared towards kids) for the social aspect. To me TTO/TTR wins by a landslide as far as actual gameplay goes and i'm sad that Disney chose one project over the other, but ultimately the game appealed more to that generation and made them bigger bucks. I personally don't like "pay to win" games either.
