Hi everyone. I'm a little confused by the "Wait Until 22 Seconds Rule" in the jury selection part of the CJ battle. I always take 2 practice shots to line up my cannon, since I am always too laggy and slow to get any more than 4 shots in after 22 seconds. Some people always yell at me to save my shots (I have 10 shots for 22 seconds, I think thats ok lol, since thats I shot every 2.2 seconds) Is it wrong to take practice shots? I do it to line up my actual shots so I can just hit the fire button when it's time. But also, you wait till 22 seconds for all the cogs to land. On multiple occasions the cogs stopped coming at like 35 seconds, and people just kept sitting around. Can anyone tell me why this is done? Thanks.
Taking practice shots is fine if you don't seat a toon with a practice shot. People wait to 22 because the cogs take about 19-30 seconds to take back a seat with a toon on it. So if you seat a toon at 19-30+ seconds, chances are (high if 23+, low if 22-) that your seat will be taken again by a cog at the last few seconds of the cannon round.
Reason why this is done is because cogs won't have enough time to seat back on the chairs if you snipe the chairs within the 22 seconds. You can observe a couple youtube videos on CJ's with perfect seatings and see how they did it.
One more thing, just asking to be sure, do the seats move back? I notice that the place I take my practice shot in (I always aim for the back) is always off by 22 seconds. Also, I assume that a cog instantly spawns to retake a seat that you put a toon in? I am still quite unsure of how the jury selection round works even though I've done 8 CJs
The seats do move back over time, so make sure you know the right angle to shoot at the 22 mark. You WILL have to adjust about every 5 seconds.
Thanks, will try it (recalibrating every 5 seconds) sometime soon. I just put it a little higher because I had a hunch, and it worked for the time being.
